Danko Jevtović is known in the local ICT community as a partner in the company Jugodata – one of the first local computer brands, and the company SezamPro – one of the first national Internet providers.
He graduated from the Faculty of Organisational Sciences in Belgrade as an engineer, and then gained an Executive MBA from the IEDC School of Management in Bled, Slovenia. He speaks English.
He was one of the driving forces behind the reform of the national Internet domain in 2001 and took an active part in drawing up the RNIDS articles of association and the regulations for the registration of .RS domains in 2005. He was also one of the 17 founders of RNIDS in 2006, and has been a member of the RNIDS Board of Governors for two terms of office.
Jevtović cites the improvement of the registration system, the introduction of IPv6 and DNSSEC, more dynamic marketing and PR and the increased efficiency of the RNIDS Office as the most important tasks at the beginning of his term of office.
