Vladimir Aleksic has been elected as the new Chair of the Conference of the Co-founders of Serbian National Internet Domain Registry Foundation (RNIDS) during the electoral session held on September 14th at Holiday Inn hotel in Belgrade. The session was attended by 121 co-founders’ accredited representatives. In the past four years (two terms) the Chair was Zoran Buhavac.
Vladimir Aleksić served as the member of the Board of Governors of RNIDS in three terms: from 2009 to 2011, from 2013 to 2016 and from 2016 to 2019. and was engaged as a member of various RNIDS working groups in the period from 2009 to 2019. He is the director of CRI Domains DOO, company which is RNIDS’ accredited registrar.
The Conference of Co-founders is a body of RNIDS comprising the authorized representatives of all co-founders and elects Chair and a Deputy Chair of the Conference of Co-founders from among its own number for a period of two years. The Chair and the Deputy Chair of the Conference of Co-founders can be elected no more than twice consecutively. The previous Chair was chosen on September 16th 2017.
