The Director of RNIDS manages the work of the Office, decides on and implements ongoing business policies, ensures liquidity and solvency, and prepares the Financial Report and the Financial Plan for the Board of Governors. The Director decides on personnel policy within the RNIDS Office, regulates rights, obligations, and responsibilities arising from employment, establishes business organization and job classification, engages employees, and decides on their further professional development and participation in international events and processes.
The Director of RNIDS is appointed by the Board of Governors, following a public competition, for a period of four years. The Board of Governors determines the rights, obligations, responsibilities, as well as the conditions and job description of the Director, to whom the Director is accountable for his work, to whom he submits quarterly financial and work reports, whose decisions he executes, and performs other tasks delegated by the Board.
The scope of work of the Director, as well as the method of electing the Director or Acting Director, are defined in the RNIDS Statute.
