Providers of equipment and services for the operation of DNS servers and applications for .rs domain registration were selected in three tenders announced this year.
Hardware and accompanying software for the primary and secondary location will be provided by Coming Computer Engineering. The deadline for the implementation is August 19th 2010. The solution is based on VMWare virtualisation software.
The new location will be in the Data Centre of the Internet Service Provider Absolut OK which will also provide links to the current location at the School of Electrical Engineering in Belgrade.
Microsoft licenses necessary for the implementation of the new infrastructure will be delivered by S&T Serbia.
