Asia Pacific Top Level Domain Association
The APTLD is an association of ccTLD registries of the Asia-Pacific region, which also includes a number of European registries (those of Sweden, France, Germany, Belarus, Ukraine and Russia) as well as from other regions. It was established in 2003 in Malaysia.
The role of the APTLD is to allow the transfer of information on the technological and operational challenges faced by national registries and to connect registries with other international Internet coordinating bodies. The APTLD facilitates and supports the participation of registries in these global forums, acting in the best interests of APTLD members in the global process of Internet policy creation.
On 21st June 2018, RNIDS became an associate member of the APTLD.
