RNIDS helps best Internet popularization projects

Serbian National Internet Domain Registry (RNIDS) will allocate non-refundable assets to projects complying with the general aims and activities of the Foundation. The objectives of 2012 Programme of support to Internet popularization projects are to increase the useful Internet content in the Serbian language and script, in the national Internet address space (.срб and .rs domain names) and to increase the number of registered national internet domain names.

All legal entities or entrepreneurs registered before September 1st 2011 in the Republic of Serbia can apply for using non-refundable assets from the Programme..

Proposed projects have to comply with the aims of Programme and non-refundable assets have to be intended for one of the following activities:
- Creating socially useful Internet content dedicated to citizens of Serbia
- Enhancing awareness of the broadest public on advantages of Internet use in everyday life and work
- Developing dedicated Internet services for economy and citizens of Serbia
- Developing e-Administration, e-Business and e-Learning
- Enhancing Internet use in research and education, especially permanent education
- Enhancing Internet availability for all citizens of Serbia, particularly those with lower level of education, lower social status and lower-level psycho-physical abilities

All activities must be carried out on the website which used one of the national Internet domain names (.срб or .rs).

Programme’s funds allocated for co-financing projects are assigned in the maximum amount of 50% of predicted financial plan for the project.

The assets available for implementing the Programme amount to 4,000,000 RSD. The sum of approved assets cannot be lower than 300,000 RSD or higher than 700,000 RSD. These amounts don’t include taxes.

The deadline for the implementation of projects is July 31st 2013.
